Susan is an artist from Morecambe Bay. Having always lived in this outstanding area, she finds the natural environment a source of endless inspiration, which she conveys by creating atmospheric paintings, primarily in watercolour.

Susan is mainly self taught, although she did study up to Foundation level and has attended several workshops by other talented artists. Whilst she works mainly in watercolour she does also use acrylic and oils.

Susan’s work reflects the ever changing nature of her surroundings whether in the shifting light of the coast or the delicate details of land and city scapes.

Through her art she seeks to evoke memory and emotion, preserving moments in time that resonate with viewers. My hope is that each piece invites others to reflect, connect and discover their own personal meaning within the work.
