Based in the picturesque Cumbrian village of Cartmel, on the edge of the Lake District, Penni Simpson handcrafts unique decorative and functional fused glass art. Her extensive collection features everything from vibrant plates, bowls, and wall art to coasters, soap dishes, sun catchers, candle holders and delicate jewellery. She also creates seasonal hanging decorations and greeting cards with glass tokens. As a special signature touch, many creations feature a unique, whimsical sheep design.

Penni’s 30-year journey began with traditional stained glass before she transitioned to the versatile world of glass fusing. Turning a redundancy into an opportunity, she bought her own kiln and launched her business. Largely self-taught, Penni hand-cuts and fires each piece at high temperatures, often multiple times to build rich layers and shapes.
